Organic Coffee?

When possible, we will have certified organic coffees as a part of our selections. However, in most regions, specialty coffee comes from smaller traditional farms where farmers are unwilling or unable to pay for organic certification. Unlike larger scaled coffee producers that can afford them, smaller farms have to look for alternatives.  But in general, specialty coffee does not see a wholesale use of herbicides that are seen in large farm crops. Because of this, our focus will be to purchase green coffee from small farmers and coops and not big business coffee operations.
